On-Time Mode
- Transmission: Up to three times at fixed hours per day (such as 13:00/14:00/18:00)
- GPS / ENV / BHV: Regular-interval model or on-time model follow each transmission
Sleep Mode
This mode is to deactivate certain type of data collection for:
- a certain period (from minutes to months)
- a regular period each day (a maximum of 16 hours)
Intelligent Frequency Optimization & Flight Detection (BOOST)
The BOOST function intelligently increases data collection & transmission frequency when the charging condition is good or the bird is flying. The default setting is as below:
Frequency Optimization:Every 10 min/1 min
Flight Detection:Every 20 sec
With BOOST, the device portrays detailed movement tracks without manual intervention and avoids the possibility of battery drain due to radical settings in bad weather.

Logged data will be stored in memory if network is unavailable.

This 3.6  gram GPS-Bluetooth logger is suitable for birds weighing 120 grams and more.


The device has a built-in GPS module, sensors, and wireless communication module and can be deployed on various animals. It is capable of

  • collecting location-based data.
  • collecting environmental data (ENV data).
  • collecting animal behawior data (BHV data).

 

 

 

The collected data is uploaded to our cloud server. You can use our web-based data center or App to connect to the cloud server to check the animal location, animal activity, and the environmental information at any time. You can also export the collected raw data in KML or CSV format for further analysis. Debut Nano uses the following methods to upload data.

Debut Nano > Mobile > Cloud server
When Debut Nano is connected to a mobile via Bluetooth, you can use the Data Assistant on the mobile to pull the data from Debut Nano, then upload it to our cloud server. The illustration below shows the data transmit process.

Debut Nano > Debut Hub > Cloud server
Debut Nano transmits the data to Debut Hub via Bluetooth and Debut Hub uploads the data to our cloud server using 2G or 3G network. The illustration below shows the data transmit process.

Debut Nano > Debut Quest > Mobile > Cloud server
Debut Nano transmits the data to Debut Quest via Bluetooth and you can use the Data Assistant on your mobile to pull the data from Debut Quest, then upload the data to our cloud server. The illustration below shows the data transmit process.
